What is available, and what comes next.
Emberkit Sheets is in beta. Our ambition is a simpler, capable work platform, but we do not claim full Smartsheet or Excel parity. Subscriptions pay for the current features and allowances listed in pricing, not a promise of future releases.
Available in this release
Spreadsheet editing and formulas; formatting, filters, validation and conditional formatting; XLSX/CSV import and export with documented limits; project templates; boards, agendas and basic summaries; private cloud workbooks; individual permissions; periodically refreshed collaborator presence; comments; manual cloud saving with conflict detection; bounded version history; storage usage; a no-card trial and monthly billing.
Next collaboration stage
Cell-level concurrent merging, live cursors, automatic cloud saves, workspace-wide roles, notification preferences, approval flows and a richer activity log. These require additional reliability and scale testing.
Project and analysis stage
Dependency-aware Gantt scheduling, resource planning, cross-workbook reporting, chart building, pivot tables, input forms, recurring automations and document-generation links to Emberkit Forms.
Enterprise and integrations stage
Managed connectors, audit exports, organization policies, SAML/SCIM, configurable retention, expanded backup controls and validated larger-workbook support. No delivery dates are promised here.
