Start the 14-day Pro trial from Account in your workspace. No payment card is collected. After 14 days, your account returns to Free unless you choose a paid monthly plan. There is no automatic charge. Buying a monthly plan charges immediately; it does not wait for the trial to end.
What counts toward storage?
Workbook contents, previous versions and comments share one account allowance. The current release does not accept file attachments. Each workbook supports up to 2 MB of stored data, 20 worksheets, 2,000 rows and 100 columns per worksheet, 50,000 populated cells and 200,000 total grid cells. XLSX uploads may be up to 5 MB, but the imported workbook must fit these limits.
What happens at a limit?
Further cloud saves pause when storage, workbook count or monthly save limits are reached. Your existing work remains available to the owner for export or deletion. Shared downloads pause when the transfer allowance is reached. Save and transfer allowances reset at the start of the next UTC calendar month. You can delete old versions, split a workbook or choose a larger plan.
After cancellation or a trial ends
A canceled subscription keeps its paid allowances until the paid period ends. Then Free allowances apply. Existing editor permissions become read-only on Free. Documents are not silently deleted on downgrade. If above Free limits, reduce usage before further saving. Viewers and editors can export documents they can access.
